Under the clock on this post...

Two quick stories before dinner (which is an hour late, but who's bitching when I'm not cooking):

We are accustomed to putting the kids in their jammies and then taking them for quick outings when they'll fall asleep in the car on the way home. We did this the other night before going out for an ice cream snack. When we got there, The Boy took one look around and a step backwards and said "Nobody else is here in their pajamas." Apparently he is over "jammie wear" in public.

In Girl News, she was getting very tired the other night and while I was trying to get her to sleep said out of the blue "I love you." Ahhhhhh...first time she's ever said that without being prompted.
