Boy got in trouble yesterday. He dumped out a bunch of toys out of a bin after I specifically told him not to do so. I got in his little face and said, "what did mommy say about dumping out the toys?"
Boy: "That I shouldn't"
Me: "And what did you do"
Boy: "I dumped them out anyway"
Me: "And what does that mean?" Expecting him to respond "that I'm in trouble" or "that I have to go to the naughty step". Instead he responed, "That I make bad decisions."
It was all I could do not to just start laughing and snuggling his smart little bottom.
